Fezzari announced today that it will sponsor Tri-Athlete Heath Thurston.
Heath grew up as a competitive swimmer and decided to start doing triathlons on a whim. Now 5 years later, he is in his second season as a professional triathlete. He loves the challenge of triathlon and the mastering of all 3 disciplines—which is always a work in progress.
Heath completed his first ironman last year in Florida he had a great race and looks forward to more great races on his Fezzari bicycle.
“I love being a staple in the Utah triathlon community, it has been good to me. It’s great to see the sport of triathlon continue to grow at such an amazing pace. I learned a lot from my first season racing as a pro and I hope that this season continues to get better for me. It’s hard to train through Utah winters so I decided to pick late season races as my focus. I am looking forward to racing the 54-30 in Boulder in August and the Austin Half Ironman in October.”
Heath will also race a couple more local races, Dinoland in June and the Echo and Scofield Triathlon's in July.
Heath said, "I'm excited to be racing for Fezzari. They have been very supportive and provide a fantastic product. The Fezzari T5 Triathlon bike is the most efficient bike I've ridden. I'm excited to put it through the paces this year."
