Fezzari is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Josh Merrick, a Tri and Duathlete hailing from Colorado.
At 5'11" and 160 lbs, Josh is the prototypical biker. His resume includes the following:
- 6-time NCAA All-American Track and Cross-Country
- 3-time NCAA Academic All-American Cross-Country
- 2003 NCAA Cross-Country Team Champion
He is planning to compete in the Duathlon World Championships in the fall on his Fezzari Fore CR5 Road Bike .
Said Josh about the CR5:
"Unreal Power Transfer! Those three words sum up my new ride from Fezzari Bicycles. The Fore CR5 is super stiff giving me the liberty to mash away at the pedals with the knowledge that none of the effort is lost in my push towards T2. This power transfer stems from the 3K monocoque carbon lay up that is utilized in the massive bottom bracket. An additional bonus is the fact that the frame is in that magic 800g range (under 2lbs.) making the bike both lighter and better at power transfer than any bike I have ridden before. This combination is my secret to faster times on the road, whether from T1-2, at the crit, or my favorite flying up the nastiest grades the Colorado mountains have to offer. I can't wait to get my hands on the T5, Fezzari's TT/Triathlon bike . Better bike pictures to come. Until then check out what I believe to be the best value in road and triathlon bikes at www.fezzari.com ."
