Many Fezzari road and triathlon bikes were scattered on the hangers at T2 (Transition Point 2) at the Battle at Midway (Midway, UT) Triathalon. Among those were two of Fezzari's pro riders, BJ Christenson and Heath Thurston. The water in Deer Creek was just above freezing as Heath Thurston was first out of the water. He said that the water wasn't the coldest part, though. That came after he stripped off his wetsuit and air dried in the 40 degree air going 20+ mph on his Fezzari T5 Triathlon Road Bike .
BJ ended up finishing in the top 10 (Heath was 13), in an event that drew pro riders from as far away as Australia, where the rider who won it hailed from. Fezzari triathletes logged very fast times on their bikes. Both BJ and Heath commented on the T5's stiffness and the efficient power transfer to the wheels being the smoothest they've ridden.
