Erin Collins started out racing Xterra triathlons in 2004. She stayed ranked number one in the xterra point series in her age category for two years. She has competed all over the country doing xterra races. In the fall of 2005 Erin was severely injured in a bicycle accident involving barbwire and after a grueling year of rehabilitation and therapy she wanted to face her newly formed fear of mountain biking head on. She began racing mountain bikes full time and won NORBA nationals in the expert class. In 2007 she continued to race mountain bikes in the pro class. She attended a private college on a full ride scholarship in Kentucky to race mountain bikes, cylco-cross and road. Erin finally went back to her true passion in racing, xterra triathlons and spent the summer and fall racing all over the western part of the country. She came in 3rd in her age group and 5th overall amateur at xterra nationals. Erin also represented her country by qualifying and racing at xterra worlds. Erin is super excited to race for Fezzari and be apart of the team and wants to thank them for all their support. She is excited to have a team of the best bike mechanics around!
