Heath Thurston just got back from 8 days of training in New Zealand at the Epic Camp with other triathletes such as Scott "The Terminator" Molina (a past winner of the Kona Ironman), Chris McDonald (2nd place at Ironman Louisville and 1st place at Ironman Wisconsin, on back to back weekends), and other great triathletes. In one week he swam 20 kilometers, biked 1,100 kilometers (over 600 miles), and ran about 60 miles. They averaged 8-10 hours a day of training. Heath said, "This was a once in a lifetime experience, and it's going to really benefit me this year in taking my game to the next level." Great job Heath!
