Fezzari announced today that it will sponsor BJ "Run Superman" Christenson on the new Fezzari T5 race bike. At 6’7”, BJ is an imposing figure, especially when you hear the whoosh of him flying by you on his T5, or catch a glimpse of his extra long stride as he takes 1 stride for every 2 of yours on the run. At 185 lbs, he’s also extremely lean and quick.

But when you talk with him in person, Utah’s top tri-athlete is personable, warm, and unimposing. Yet, you sense the competitive undertones in his words.

“I hope this year will be my break-through year to take me to the next level,” said Christenson. “I’m excited to be sponsored by Fezzari. The T5 is an incredible bike and I’ve been very pleased with it in my training. Fezzari custom built the T5 for me, and it fits perfectly (no small task for someone 6’7”).”

BJ plans to participate in 13 events this year, starting with the Ford Ironman 70.3 California in Oceanside, California on March 29. At that event he will swim 1.2 miles, bike 56 miles, and run 13.1 miles.
