OVERVIEW

Our most popular road bike now with two color options.  Whether you are riding a century, doing a triathlon, or racing, it has the responsiveness and suppleness that sets it apart from anything you've ridden before.

Take for instance the state of the art proprietary Fezzari Racing Design Xr6 monocoque carbon fiber frame, new on the CR3 for 2012. We made the frame even stiffer laterally by enlarging the bottom bracket shell utilizing our ContinuousDispersal Box Technology and adding the BB30 bottom bracket/crank design, strengthening the headtube and making it more laterally stiff by enlarging the diameter to a 1.5" tapered design. We've also enlarged the seatstays near the rear axle for more lateral rigidity. We made the Xr6 frame even more vertically compliant than before for those rides on the cobblestones and rough rodes. We've done this by using an oval design in our top tube and down tube.  The new Xr6 frame is even more aerodynamic than before with the new F4 Xrt tapered  ultralight bladed carbon fork and internal cable routing on the top tube. 

All this translates into exhilaration when you’re climbing – knowing that you’re ascending more efficiently – and confidence on the downhill when you take that corner at high speeds.

The Foré CR3 comes with Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra components (brakes, shifters, etc.), FSA carbon crank with external bearings, titanium saddle rails, carbon seat post, and carbon handlebars.

You get the following upgrades over the CR2:

1. Upgraded Rear Derailleur – you go one step up on Shimano’s derailleurs to 7900 Dura Ace (the top of the line) from Shimano Ultegra. It will shift a little smoother and is a little lighter.
2. Upgraded Frame – you get the Xr6 frame which is stiffer laterally for more power and a more confident ride.
3. Upgraded Crankset – from FSA Gossamer to FSA SLK Light BB30, which has carbon crankarms that are lighter and stiffer. The bottom bracket set is a little lighter and refined, too.
4. Upgraded Chainrings – from FSA Gossamer to FSA SLK, which are lighter.
5. Upgraded Handlebars – from aluminum bars to FSA K-Force shallow drop full carbon bars.  these help soak up the road vibrations for a more comfortable ride.
6. Upgraded Wheelset – from Shimano RS10 to Mavic Ksyrium Equipe, which are lighter, stiffer and roll much quicker.
