Fezzari's most popular cross-country bike has been completely redesigned for 2010. New frame. New components. Better ride. Better value.
We start with the new F4A frame. It provides better pedaling up and down hills with less bob; better cornering with offset chainstays for more lateral stiffness; better performance and durability with sealed bearings on the pivots; lower standover clearance to jump on and off easier; a slightly more relaxed head angle (69 degrees) for improved control in cornering and descending; and finishes that are second to none.
Other benefits include:
Just ride a Fezzari Full Suspension frame, and you'll notice the difference.
We complete the Abajo with a combination of great components, including: Shimano LX derailleur for smooth, quick shifting; Avid BB-5 Mechanical disc brakes that perform effortlessly and are completely dependable; RockShox Tora 100mm travel fork; Rockshox Ario 2.1 rear shock with Lockout; Alex DP17 rims; Maxxis Larsen TT tires; and on and on!
The question you’re probably asking is “How can they do all this at this price?” That’s our core strategy: Custom. Quality. Direct.
Who will enjoy this bike? Riders who want all the best in a cross-country bike and those who don’t want to second-guess themselves down the road if they got enough bike. With the Alta Peak, you’ve got everything you need to tackle all the trails.
You'll notice the difference in comfort, performance, and ride on a full-suspension Fezzari frame.
You get 4 main upgrades over the Wiki Peak:
Who will enjoy this bike? Moderate to advanced riders and those doing more climbing.

I am replacing my Santa Cruz Superlight frame with the Abajo Peak. I should get it in the next week or so. I have a race at the end of the month. I'll let you know how it rates! Anyone ever race mtb on a Fezzari?

Awesome company, Awesome bike!
by Chris G. (Pleasant Grove, Ut.)

I bought an Abajo Peak about a month ago and have loved every minute of riding since. Together this bike and I have already climbed steep ridges and conquered some pretty wicked downhill. The bike has functioned flawlessly throughout. The customer service at Fezzari is top notch. I am fortunate enough to live just a few miles away from their store and have seen and recognized some of their employees on the mountain. They are friendly and helpful, and full of useful information both in store, and out. I have been well pleased with the product, the price, and the service. At this point I am sure that all of my future bike purchases will involve a trip to Fezzari.

Great bike for the Price!
by Brian C (Pleasant Grove, UT)

This is a fantastic bike! I highly recommend Fezzari. Their support is awesome! (They were a little backed up during peak selling season, but were still very accommodating.)My comments are for someone trying to decide between the Abajo & Alta. When I purchased this bike I was also considering getting the Alta Peak. My wife bought the Alta Peak a couple of months later, so we have 1 of each. The Alta is noticeably lighter, the front shock is noticeably smoother, and the hydraulic brakes are a huge step up - my forearms and hands are always tired after riding long downhills while my wife has no problems. If the Abajo Peak is the upper end of your budget I would say go for it - it's a fantastic value for the money, but if you are trying to decide if the Alta Peak is worth the extra money - I'd recommend the Alta Peak.

Good Buy
by Russ W (Omaha, NE)

The Abajo Peak is a great bike. I purchased it as a replacement to my 1995 Gary Fisher Marlyn. Handles well and is a great value in comparison to other full-suspension bikes. I road several "leading manufacture" bikes from the local shops and I'm really glade that I bought my Fezzari. I'd recommend this bike to anyone!
