Fezzari's popular full-suspension mountain bike for all-purpose riding. It has the Fezzari Racing Design F400A 4-Bar Link 100mm travel full suspension premium aluminum frame:

  • It has a bend in the top tube to give lower standover clearance because often when you need to put a foot down on the trail you're not on level ground and you need as much clearance as you can get.
  • The rear triangle has square tubing to give added strength and stiffness to the frame.
  • The 4-Bar Link rear suspension distributes bump stress through four links and provides a more vertical wheel path than many other full suspension frames. A vertical wheel path means that when you're pedaling the bike won't bob up and down, but it will still absorb the bumps.
  • Reinforced gussets in the right places to give it superior lateral stiffness
  • Butting (thinning the tubing walls in the right places) to lower weight. The frame weighs just 6 lbs.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty on the frame - the best in the business.

You'll notice the difference in comfort, performance, and ride on a full-suspension Fezzari frame.

You get 4 main upgrades over the Wiki Peak:

  1. Upgraded drivetrain - from 24-speed Shimano Deore to 27-speed Shimano LX. You'll notice the difference in smoother shifting and a lower climbing gear for steep mountain trails.
  2. Upgraded front shock - the same Rockshox Dart 2 but with Lockout, so that you can disengage the shock on some hill climbs to give you more efficiency.
  3. Upgraded disc brakes - go from the Tektro brakes to Avid BB5 mechanical disc brakes. They have more adjustability and are a little smoother.
  4. Upgraded rear shock - the Bar Adjust 2.1 is lighter because it is an air shock rather than a coil shock.

Who will enjoy this bike? Moderate to advanced riders and those doing more climbing.

Big Bang for the hard earned dollar!

I have had this bike 6 mos and this is my first full suspension ride. This is a great value for the components that come with this bike. The frame is solid and their is no noticeable bob in the rear suspension, even on hard climbs. Bike sucks up the bumps on the downhill as well. Disc brakes are good. Custom fit noticed immediately as the bike fit great. They nailed it based on the info I gave them. I only had to deal with the saddle height and the cant of the handle bar. Highly recommend this bike for the beginner and intermediate rider looking for a solid value & a good bike.

I received my Abajo Peak it looks and rides great. My friends are impressed by the quality and value. My wife asked "where's mine?" I'll definitely recommend Fezzari. Thanks.

First impression is a lasting impression

My Abajo Peak was delivered, as promised, on time. I have always believed that a first impression is a lasting inpression, well, the way my bike was carefully cradled told me before I was even able to ride it, that I was looking at quality and a well made bike. It took me about 15 minutes to put it together, (had to take a step back to take it all in, "nice" I could have done it much faster). The next day, I took my bike up and hit my favorite trails. I had an awesome time. The only minor snag I experienced was that I had to fine tune the rear shock, as I preferred it to be stiffer, which after careful inspection, found it to be a simple task to accomplish.

Getting the Abajo Peak was the best buying decision I've made

Awhile back, I ordered an Abajo Peak bike from you. I have been extremely impressed. The buying process was smooth and easy. I ordered from you over the phone. You upgraded the bike to larger springs, which are more appropriate for my weight. The bike arrived fast and in great shape. Final assembly was absolutely painless, and took less than 10 minutes. I have taken the bike on 10 or 15 rides so far, and everything is working beautifully. The suspension is great, and the brakes are absolutely wonderful. I've gotten several compliments on the trail from riders with more expensive bikes. They like the frame, they like the components, but they've never heard of Fezzari. I have a feeling that's about to change. Getting the Abajo Peak was the best buying decision I've made in a while. Keep up the good work, guys.

We got two Abajo Peaks. We have loved them. I was amazed at how quietly it rides on the rode even with the off-road tires. The shocks are great.

Our Abajo Peak is a workhorse
by Richard (Napa Valley, CA)

Our Abajo Peak is a workhorse that probably has several thousand miles of street and off road usage on it. It’s the first bicycle we have had that didn't burn through tires every 60 days or so. We have gone through countless chains and derailleurs on various models of street and mountain bikes and have even broken a frame completely in half on a super lightweight street model. The Abajo has proven to be a reasonably light weight machine, but it is also very durable under tough conditions. Our Abajo Peak has been used for both work and play. We use it to patrol some properties (fairground and race track environments) at night. Rain or shine, the machine has to move along at a good clip both on and off road in that job. We live in a very hilly district overlooking the Napa River, and the bike is a favorite for fooling around on local trips involving some steep climbs and downgrades. There is a waterfront park nearby that consists of rough trails and some graveled roadways and concrete walkways. Someone regularly uses the Abajo to take the family dog out for a five mile exercise romp in that park. The Fezzari design is a well crafted compromise between weight and strength, and the factory uses good quality components in the assembly. It handles drive-train punishing hill climbs, mud, broken glass, nails, rim-twisting ruts, and other adverse conditions better than any other machine that we have owned.
