Upgraded and refined for 2010. The Cascade Peak now comes with all new components, including the new longer travel Fox Float RLC fork.

With the development of better frames and better shocks, Fezzari has been able to create all-mountain bikes that are as efficient in pedaling as the 4-inch cross-country bikes, but have the ability to absorb even bigger jumps and bumps because of the extra 2 inches of travel.

This all-mountain crusher is built for all conditions. It’s as much at home gliding through the pines on a cross-country singletrack trail as it is bombing downhill through a series of rocks and jumps. With silky smooth shifting of the SRAM X.9 derailleur, and the ProPedal on the best rear shock on the market – the Fox RP2-- it will easily climb back up the mountain again and again. The Elixir 5 hydraulic disc brakes will also stop you quickly and efficiently on Slickrock's steep trails. You'll love this incredible ride.

Fezzari's popular full-suspension mountain bike for all-purpose riding. It has the Fezzari Racing Design F6A 4-Bar Link 150mm travel full suspension premium aluminum frame:

  • Sealed bearings on every pivot point (most companies use only bushings that tend to wear out and ovalize the frame causing sloppiness).
  • It has a bend in the top tube to give lower standover clearance because often when you need to put a foot down on the trail you're not on level ground and you need as much clearance as you can get.
  • The rear triangle has square tubing to give added strength and stiffness to the frame.
  • The 4-Bar Link rear suspension distributes bump stress through four links and provides a more vertical wheel path than many other full suspension frames. A vertical wheel path means that when you're pedaling the bike won't bob up and down, but it will still absorb the bumps.
  • Reinforced gussets in the right places to give it superior lateral stiffness
  • Butting (thinning the tubing walls in the right places) to lower weight. The frame weighs just 6 lbs.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty on the frame - the best in the business.

You'll notice the difference in comfort, performance, and ride on a full-suspension Fezzari frame.

You get the following upgrades over the Alta Peak:

  1. Upgraded drivetrain - from Shimano XT to SRAM X.9. The 1:1 gear ratios of SRAM shifting mean more precise shifting. The front derailleur is also upgraded to SRAM X.7 (from Shimano Deore), and the shifters are upgraded to SRAM X.7 (from Shimano Deore) for more precise, smoother shifting.
  2. Upgraded front fork- the Fox Float RLC has more travel and more adjustments, and still manages to be 1 lb lighter. It also has a variable lockout that allows you to adjust the level of lockout more precisely and it disengages when you hit the bumps.
  3. Upgraded disc brakes - The Avid Elixir 5 brakes are similar to Juicy 3s, but they have the following upgrades: they come with DOT 5.1 (rather than DOT 4) brake fluid for even higher performance; a split clamp design for quicker clamping or removing from the handlebars; and a banjo clamp on the brake caliper to adjust the angle that the brake cable attached to the caliper.
  4. Upgraded rear shock - the Fox Float RP2 rear shock has better lockout -- called ProPedal -- because it sets the lockout at 25% of the travel, rather than at 100% of the travel as do other lockouts, which simply disengage the shock. This allows the shock to have negative rebound (imagine riding down a trail and you hit a pothole; the suspension has travel available to absorb the pothole that you wouldn't have on another type of lockout). The RP2 also performs smoother and responds quicker.

The Cascade Peak is truly an all-mountain bike, able to take any terrain. It's as good at cross-country riding as it is at steep climbs and downhills. Want one bike that does it all and will have room to grow with you as you grow in the sport? Choose the Cascade Peak.

Made a huge difference in riding ability

I can express what a difference your bike has made in my wife's riding ability. The bike is so smooth and handles so well she has become very confident and capable. Can't believe how easy the bike tracks in all conditions and speeds. With the ability to adjust the set up and change it for conditions is a dream come true. The WTB saddle is the best she has ever used and the brakes are outstanding! The short stand over height truly makes this a great bike for shorter women, being almost 2” lower then everyone else. The finish of the paint on this bike can only be compared with a high quality car, very deep and rich. Over all gentlemen, we could not be happier with our purchase of the Cascade.

This awesome bike has renewed my love for the sport. I was a hold out...riding the same hardtail frame for years upgrading components thinking I was hard-core or something. Whatever. Buy this bike, it is worth every penny!! It inspires confidence and will improve your riding. I purchased the 2010 Cascade Peak w/ the Talas fork. I'm not a crazy freerider but I love haulin' downhill and this bike let's me cruise through terrain that used to make me gulp and think twice. Like to catch some air? No worries, the 6 inches of travel make landing a breeze. What I like most about this bike is that it feels incredibly solid underneath me when the going gets rough...just hang on and keep pedaling. And it climbs like a goat. No pedal bob. Great traction, I've had no issues w/ the Larsen TTs. I've been putting this bike through the paces for several weeks and no issues.

I have had my bike for about a year and love it. I was looking at the Specialized Stumpjumper series and found your bike on the web. When I compared the component level between the two bikes, the Cascade Peak was the superior Value! I ride 3 times a week up grueling hills and this baby just goes. I am pushing over 215lbs of "old guy bikee" up and down hills and this bike just makes it easy. This bike definitely keeps me off the streets...

This is an updated review of my earlier review from August, 2008. I have had the Cascade Peak now for about 8 months, and love it. The ride is awsome and the price was great. You can't find a bike spec'd with these components for less than $3500 at a LBS. Customer service is awsome at Fezzari as well. The custom fit has this bike fitting like a glove, and riding like a luxury car. The only thing I would change are the tires, as the Larsen TT's do not corner well or grip well in loose gravel terrain (changed mine to WTB Weirwolf Race 2.3). This is still by far the best bike I have ever ridden, and I am still recommending the Cascade Peak to everyone I know who rides. Thanks Fezzari for this awsome ride.

  Freakin sweet!

I've owned this bike since June of 2008 and have been completely satisfied with it's performance and quality of craftsmanship. I ride an average of two to three times a week. On a recent trip to Gooseberry Mesa, I met a few folks that rode Cannondale's, Treks, and Specialized. Their bikes had similar components as mine, some were superior, some were inferior and some were the same. But all of them paid a lot more for their bikes than I did mine. Chris and the gang at Fezzari are second to none when it comes to customer service.

Dear Fezzari-Team, I have got my new Fezzari Cascade Peak! Awesome the best bike ever. Light und very fast - It is like driving the mountain bike trails with a racing bike. The finishing and quality is the best, handling easy and powerful. First impression - it can't be better! I am not a payed celebrity from Germany to write this good review, so I have one minus: The cyan spots are really necessary?;-)

The bike is AWSOME. This is by far the best bike I have ever ridden. The custom fit was perfect, and the ride is extremely plush. Customer service cannot be beat either. I had a time constraint issue and you guys really came through in a big way for me. I am recommending the Cascade Peak to everyone I know. You guys rock. Thanks Fezzari for this awsome ride.

I've had the Cascade Peak for 6 months now. I did tons of research and rode lots of different bikes. This bike is the funnest bike I've ever ridden. I ride till my legs are about to fall off. I just want to keep riding. If you do the comparisons, there is a HUGE difference in quality of components and value. I've referred 2 other friends and they love them, too. One got the Cascade and one got the Nebo.

Have had the bike for 5 months. I have had a Trek, a Santa Cruz, and a Specialized. This bike rides better than any of them. It handles better, rides better and is more durable. I was worried about buying one because I hadn't heard of Fezzari before. Now i tell everyone about Fezzari.

I am sooo glad I found you guys. I was just about ready to plunk down a bunch of cash on an Ellsworth, but did a web search. I have no idea how you guys have built a bike at this level for this price. It's the best bike I've ever ridden.
