Enter the world of long-travel all-mountain bikes. With the development of better frames and better shocks, Fezzari has been able to create all-mountain bikes that are as efficient in pedaling as the 4-inch cross-country bikes, but have the ability to absorb even bigger jumps and bumps because of the extra 2 inches of travel.

This all-mountain crusher is built for all conditions. It’s as much at home gliding through the pines on a cross-country singletrack trail as it is bombing downhill through a series of rocks and jumps. With the adjustable U-Turn and lockout on the Rockshox Revelation fork, the silky smooth shifting of the SRAM X.9 derailleur, and the ProPedal on the best rear shock on the market – the Fox RP23-- it will easily climb back up the mountain again and again. The Juicy 5 hydraulic disc brakes will also stop you quickly and efficiently on Slickrock's steep trails. You'll love this incredible ride.

Fezzari's popular full-suspension mountain bike for all-purpose riding. It has the Fezzari Racing Design F600A 4-Bar Link 150mm travel full suspension premium aluminum frame:

  • It has a bend in the top tube to give lower standover clearance because often when you need to put a foot down on the trail you're not on level ground and you need as much clearance as you can get.
  • The rear triangle has square tubing to give added strength and stiffness to the frame.
  • The 4-Bar Link rear suspension distributes bump stress through four links and provides a more vertical wheel path than many other full suspension frames. A vertical wheel path means that when you're pedaling the bike won't bob up and down, but it will still absorb the bumps.
  • Reinforced gussets in the right places to give it superior lateral stiffness
  • Butting (thinning the tubing walls in the right places) to lower weight. The frame weighs just 6 lbs.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty on the frame - the best in the business.

You'll notice the difference in comfort, performance, and ride on a full-suspension Fezzari frame.

You get 6 main upgrades over the Alta Peak:

  1. Upgraded frame - from 4 inches to 6 inches and still the same weight. If you're looking to absorb bigger bumps and take more aggressive trails, this is the way to go.
  2. Upgraded drivetrain - from Shimano XT to SRAM X.9. The 1:1 gear ratios of SRAM shifting mean more precise shifting. The front derailleur is also upgraded to Shimano LX (from Shimano Deore), and the shifters are upgraded to SRAM X.7 (from Shimano Deore) for more precise, smoother shifting.
  3. Upgraded front fork- the RockShox Revelation has more travel and more adjustments, and still manages to be 1 lb lighter (because it's a dual air shock rather than coil). It can be adjusted from 100mm to 130mm in travel, a great feature when climbing because by lowering your front travel you can shift the weight forward and keep your front wheel on the ground. It also has lockout but with Floodgate, which means you can adjust the level of lockout more precisely and it will disengage when you hit the bumps.
  4. Upgraded disc brakes - The Avid Juicy 5 brakes are similar to Juicy 3s, but they have the following upgrades: they come with DOT 5.1 (rather than DOT 4) brake fluid for even higher performance; a split clamp design for quicker clamping or removing from the handlebars; and a banjo clamp on the brake caliper to adjust the angle that the brake cable attached to the caliper.
  5. Upgraded rear shock - the Fox Float RP23 rear shock has better lockout -- called ProPedal -- because it sets the lockout at a about 25% of the travel, rather than at 100% of the travel as do other lockouts, which simply disengage the shock. This allows the shock to have negative rebound (imagine riding down a trail and you hit a pothole; the suspension has travel available to absorb the pothole that you wouldn't have on another type of lockout). The RP23 also performs smoother and responds quicker. Plus you have 6 distinct settings available from firm to soft for any type of terrain that you encounter.
  6. Upgraded Tires - To tackle loose gravel with more confidence, we have upgraded the size of the Maxxis Larsen TTs from 2.1 to 2.35 inches. The extra size will give you better control on more types of terrain.

The Cascade Peak is truly an all-mountain bike, able to take any terrain. It's as good at cross-country riding as it is at steep climbs and downhills. Want one bike that does it all and will have room to grow with you as you grow in the sport? Choose the Cascade Peak.

Truvativ Blaze Crankset - Bullet-proof design with AL-66 alloy forged crankarms, AL-7075-T6 alloy outer chainring, and a PowerSpline bottom bracket with a spline taper for added durability.

SRAM X.9 Rear Derailleur - With a 1:1 Actuation Ratio (instead of a 2:1 ratio common on other derailleurs), shift response is very quick. Di.R.T:Direct Route Technology reduces friction by routing the cable directly the the actuation mechanism. The Upper Pulley has a sealed bearing. The X.9 shifts smoothly and is particularly good on bumpy surfaces.

SRAM X.7 Shifters - Feature 1:1 Actuation Ratio™ (precise shifting and less tuning); Adjustable Clamp Positions; and Direct Route Technology™ (minimizing friction between the shifter and the derailleur). All this translates into very precise and durable shifting.

RockShox Revelation Fork - The RockShox Revelation 409 U-Turn is a fantastic all-arounder, from steep climbs to your favorite downhill. It features: Travel Adjustment between 100-130mm; Positive and Negative Schrader Air Valves for Preload and Rebound Adjust; Motion Control Damping with Lockout (to control the level of Lockout); and Low-Speed Compression with Floodgate to minimize bobbing when pedaling and to still take a sudden big bump. It light (only 4 lbs), responsive, and completely adjustable for any type of riding.

Fox Float RP23 Rear Shock - The best performing oil damped air shock on the market. It offers incredible ride performance with its 3-position tuning range adjuster and 2-position adustable ProPedal lever that allows riders to quickly shift from light to firm ProPedal. Fox's ProPedal system is better than standard lockout because it's more responsive and the platform is set in the sag so you get negative rebound. In the the firm position, it can support a rider's sprinting effort and yet still absorb bumps. It also includes rebound adjust and air preload adjust via a Schrader valve.

Avid Juicy 5 Brakes - Perfectly smooth and adjustable, Avid Juicy 5 Brakes feature: Indexed Brake Lever Reach Adjustment; Clean Sweep rotors (available in 160, 185, and 203mm); Tri-Align™ Caliper Positioning System™ for automatic pad alignment; Power Reserve Geometry™ for ultra-easy braking; Tool-free pad replacement; Ambidextrous Levers; and Drip-Free bleeding. All this translates into superb braking and low maintenance.

  AWESOME bike

I am sooo glad I found you guys. I was just about ready to plunk down a bunch of cash on an Ellsworth, but did a web search. I have no idea how you guys have built a bike at this level for this price. It's the best bike I've ever ridden.
