The all-new 2010 Catania features a carbon fork, carbon seatpost, Ultegra derailleur, and more all on a Fezzari Racing Design R2A frame.

The Catania road bike is a great all-around bike. If you want to get into road biking or want a bike that is durable, high-performing, and as comfortable as a road bike can get, the Catania is for you.

The Catania features the R2A frame with compact geometry. Compact geometry means that we shorten the seat tube slightly, which makes the bike a little lighter and reduces lateral flex (you don’t want your bike flexing side to side when you’re pedaling). It also allows your riding position to be a little more upright.

Add to that a great set of components, including: Shimano Ultegra derailleur and Shimano 105 shifters for smooth shifting (it’s a 30-speed so it will give you plenty gears for steep hills or long, flat rides; Fezzari Carbon II fork to minimize the road chatter; FSA Gossamer crank with external oversized bearings that make it pedal smoother and more efficiently; Alex double-wall rims that are extremely durable; Maxxis performance tires (the same tires as on our highest end bike); and a Fezzari Racing Design saddle that is one of the most comfortable road saddles you’ll ride.

I was impressed with the quality, price and especially the service provided by your technician as the Catania was fitted. This is surely the first bike I have owned that fits me perfectly. I've now got to sell my 2 old mtn bikes so I can buy a new Fezzari.

Hi, guys! I send this letter to thank you for work that you are doing. I spend a lot of time making my decision – what bike I really want. Now, a year after buying Fezzari “Catania” I can say: I’m just happy! The bike looks elegant, is very light, speedy and I feel very comfortable on it. And it was so inexpensive! I bought a CR-3 in 2009. The bike is great. My main concern in buying was buying via the internet without riding the bike first. I had a small issue with the handlebar height. They were extremely responsive and got a Salsa stem out to me fixing the problem. I just bought the R2 for my daughter. Great job guys!

I bought my Catania in December 2007 because I got out of shape and could no longer ride my Litespeed. Great bike, good components and super help from the staff. This past summer I finally found time to ride again, and put over 1600 miles on the bike without any problems. This was after the bike mostly sat in my basement the previous year. The tires need replacing, but everything else is working great. I highly recommended this bike to someone who is looking for a good beginning road bike, but does not want to spend a lot of money.

Best bang for the buck. Got this bike in December and have ridden quite a bit so far. Extremely pleased with how it rides and it has held up so far with no issues. I look forward to many more miles on it and someday a century ride. Support a Utah Company!! Buy a Fezzari.

Most internet bike sites can't be trusted. After months of research I choose the Catania. Excellent bike! Don't let the low price fool you this is an exceptional bike at this price.

Recently bought a catania, it is amazing. I have riden it a few hundred miles so far and not one complaint. It still rides like the day i got it.
