All New 2010 Foré CR2 Carbon Road Bike

Take your riding to the next level with the Foré CR2 full carbon road bike, built to be extremely durable and responsive. Feel the adrenalin rush as it accelerates smoothly and corners aggressively. Great for cross-country riding, a triathlon, and even a race.

Start with a proprietary Fezzari Racing Design Xr4 monocoque carbon frame that was recently tested as one of the most durable frames on the market, and weighs 900 grams.

You get 6 main upgrades over the Catania:

  1. Upgraded Frame – the CR2 has a full monocoque carbon frame vs the Catania’s aluminum alloy frame. The carbon frame is lighter and will absorb a little more of the road chatter when riding.
  2. Upgraded Shifters – you go one step up on Shimano’s shifters to Shimano Ultegra shifters rather than Shimano 105. They will shift smoother and are a lighter.
  3. Upgraded Front Derailleur – from Shimano 105 to Shimano Ultegra, which gives you better front shifting and smoother trim tab shifting (when you push in half-way on the shifters, the derailleur stays on the same chainring but moves over a half-step to allow you to use all gears on the rear cassette without having the chain rub).
  4. Upgraded Saddle – upgraded to the Fezzari Racing Design R1 saddle, which is lighter and has titanium rails to absorb more road chatter.
  5. Upgraded Seatpost – from aluminum alloy to Fezzari Racing Design XrT 3K Carbon, which is lighter and absorbs more road chatter.
  6. Upgraded Wheelset – from Alex AT-400 to Shimano RS-10, which are lighter and have bladed spokes for better aerodynamics.
Who will want this bike? If you’ve been biking and plan to get into it more, and you want to get something that will grow with you as you grow in the sport (but you’re not willing to pay the price of a CR3 or CR5), then this is the bike for you. It takes you into the full Shimano Ultegra and carbon bike category, and you’ll have the confidence that you can ride with anyone, anytime.

The Foré CR2 comes with Shimano Ultegra components (including brakes, shifters, derailleurs), FSA Gossamer crank, titanium/carbon saddle, and carbon seat post (carbon handlebar upgrade is also available).

  Two Fezzari Bikes
by Dan (New Hampshire)
November 28, 2009

I was in Moab / Salt Lake for a vacation and had schedueled a shop visit . I am not inclinded to buy a bike on line. But I checked out the competition read reviews and found Fezzari on line. The price for the quality package look very good . After Moab the Alta Peak was my first goal with a FORE CR2 a possibility. I met other locals in the shop we talked about the bikes ,their actual riding experince ,service ect. I tested both bikes and bought them. Shipment was quick and easy set up . I ride both bikes and love them. The road bike fit perfectly after 4 months of riding I still have not had to adjust the set up ,smoothness is a huge positive change to my old bike. The handeling of the mt. bike is great does all I want and more. I have been riding for a lot of years and had good gear but these were nice step up.

On the internet a comparable product was 48 to 43 hundred USED. That was a no brainer to buy a Fezzari. I have ridden 100's of miles now since I got it and I keep being impressed from smoothness in shifting (looking down to see if it really had) to riding over the bumps like a Cadillac. I am not as tired. Everything worked so smoothly together. With the upgraded wheel set I am now riding at least 2 to 3 miles/hr faster. YEA.

It is absolutely REDICULOUS the product, and customer service you get with Fezzari! I have ridden every type of bike there is and nothing compares to the quality and customer service of these guys. To them it isn't strictly a business proposition, they truly LOVE what they do! These are the kind of guys you want to be associated with! BUY FEZZARI! Your only regret will be that you didn't do it sooner!

  Better Than I Thought

What a great bike. Much faster on the flats and climbs. I have only had the bike 2 months now and can't believe how great it rides, handles, and moves. I have the yellow and black, a very sharp and professional look, can't beat the component package or the price. I would recommend this bike to anyone who enjoys riding but wants a bike that gives you feel that you are serious without bottoming out your budget.

Good Value for a Carbon Bike!
by Roger (Rocklin, CA)
January 11, 2009

I purchased my Fore CR2 in July 2008 and have used it a great deal since then...local hilly rides and longer organized rides. I'm still very impressed with the bike's handling and ability to climb. The components (especially with my crank upgrade to an FSA SLK-Lite) are top notch and I rarely see other bikes with this level of equipment unless they are much more expensive. The service was good too. Hope to see other colors in the future!

  Super bike and service!

Just a note to let you know how pleased I am with my new CR2. What a difference this bike makes riding with my bike club....no more struggles to keep up. I only wish I had gotten it long ago. So much value, great components, great service and fit, and at such a great price! I checked out the local bike shops and couldn't get a comparable bike for anywhere near that price...and no TAX! My friends in the know were very surprised by the quality of the bike, and especially so when I told them the price. Thanks so much for the bike and your service!

Thank you for the bike and service

Just a note to tell you guys how happy I am with my CR2 that I got last month. You guys did a great job fitting the bike, and the bike itself is a tremendous value for the price. I ride every day after work and find myself looking forward to the ride more than anything else during the day. I'm new to road bikes and my only regret is that I waited this long to start (I'm 44). I've several friends that are experienced road racers and triathletes and all have just been blown away by the bike (especially when I tell them what I paid). Anyway, thanks again for the bike, the service, etc.

CR2 Great Bike out of the box
by Luiz (Plainaboro, NJ)
August 28, 2008

I purchased a Fezzari CR2 Road bike a few months back and have been very impressed with it. I upgraded from a hybrid Cannondale Silk Path. I’ve been commuting to work and riding about 50 to 80 miles on weekends. When I first removed the bike out of the box and assembled it, I went for a ride and couldn’t believe everything fit so well. It was all so smooth, so responsive, and so fast that I had the impression I had the CR2 for many years. Besides my riding experience, another very important point to document here is Fezzari’s technical assistance. They were so attentive and thoughtful. Their technical knowledge is excellent seeing they give good advice and they are also very efficient in providing replacement parts. I feel very confident with my first online purchase for a bicycle.

  One year of hard duty
by Spencer (Miami, FL)
July 21, 2008

I've been riding my CR2 since July of last year and I still love it today as much as when I got it. The Ultegra components work so smoothly, and the bike is rock solid on downhills over 40mph. I regularly cruise at 22mph+ with triathlon bars. I'm about to upgrade to the Fezzari tri bike...a $5300 investment. I would not make that leap if I did not love the CR2

$700 less than a comparable bike from another company
by Russ P (Utah)

I've been on three rides in two days. I absolutely love it. I got curious and checked to see what a similar full-carbon frame bike cost with similar components. It had internal cables, but it was $700 more! Crazy. I'm a huge fan.

A fast, durable, and lightweight road bike with excellent components. Shop around at local bike shops and you'll see the FORE CR2 is a high quality bike at a good price. Fezzari also provides good customer service. You will look, feel, and ride like a pro on FORE CR2.

  Great Bike, Great Support
by Ron L. (Los Angeles, CA)
December 18, 2007

I have had my CR2 for about 4 months now. I have been putting about 100 miles a week on it. The more I ride it the more I love it. It's the most solid frame I've ridden. Lateral stiffness is very good. Very solid in climbing. Love the geometry. I have ridden in two triathlons and on many road rides. A great all-around bike. No question the best bike I've ever had.
