What do you get when you interview hundreds of riders, questioning them about their innermost desires for the ultimate road bike and then, spend thousands of hours translating those ideas into reality? A dream come true. We call it the Fezzari Foré CR5. It is the pinnacle of road bike performance. From its state of the art, proprietary Fezzari Racing Design Xr4 3K monocoque carbon frame to its best-of-market components, the Foré CR5 is THE ultimate road bike. Our designers and engineers didn't cut corners.
Take, for instance, the state of the art proprietary Fezzari Racing Design Xr4 3K monocoque carbon frame. Most high-end road bike makers use a lower grade of carbon in order to save money—then they paint over it to hide that fact. On the Foré CR5, we used the highest grade of carbon available on the market. Our frames were recently tested to be the most durable frames on the market. And, they weigh a mere 2lbs. Strength, lightweight, rigid where you need it most and flexible enough to take the edge off of rough roads, it is the perfect frame for anyone who wants to get the most out of their riding experience.
Next, take a look at the perfect blend of components. The Foré CR5 includes full Dura Ace components, FSA K-Force Carbon Crankset, Fezzari XrT 3K carbon fork with carbon steerer tube, 3K carbon handlebars, 3K carbon seat post, and even carbon spacers.
Finally, add sleek graphics and a transparent finish to show off the carbon and you have it--the ultimate road ride.
You get 8 main upgrades over the CR3:

I LOVE THIS BIKE!
by Keena Schaerrer (Pleasant Grove, Utah)

This bike is phenomenal! I have spent the last several weeks riding the amazing Tri specific T5 and after having terrific results on that bike, I am now training for a road race on the Fore CR5. I am so impressed with the perfect combination of stiffness, speed and comfort on this bike! After spending the weekend climbing every hill I could find I was blown away with how great I felt and how well it handled...both in allowing me those well appreciated extra gears and efficient power transfer on the uphills, as well as feeling stable and controlled on the descents. After just a few days of riding this bike I am already loving it! I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a great ride at a terrific value!

Awesome Power Transfer
by Joshua Merrick (Lakewood, CO)
July 31, 2008
One word “stiff”. When I approached Fezzari about their line of road and time trail bikes I was looking to address one major of performance, this being power transfer. My former road frame while light felt as though I was bleeding watts with every attempted acceleration. On up hill attacks my handle bars would flex one direction and the bottom bracket the other taking power meant for the wheels and absorbing it in frame flex. One look at the massive bottom bracket of the Fore CR5 and I was sold. The performance did not disappoint. Despite my best efforts to flex the CR5 frame, up hill accelerations, short sprint attacks, or even riding to swim practice with the additional weight of my bag, I could not. Even more impressive were the performance gains. The extremely efficient power transfer resulted in a 12 second personal best this week during training repeats up Lookout Mountain, a 4 mile ride with an average of 5% grade. In short, if you are looking for a road bike that allows you to translate every ounce of your efforts mashing the pedals directly into the speed the Fore CR5 is the bike you have been looking for.

Amazing....
by Eddie Franklen (Sarasota FL)

I have been riding road bikes for about 8 years now and get a new bike about every year, this is the best i have ever ridden. I ride about 60-100 miles a day and this bike has handled it so well. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. It is very stiff and pedals up hills like no other. The ksyrium wheels are stiff, light, and have little drag. This bike is truly the best bike you can get for the money, and probably the best bike money can buy. Thank you fezzari, i am looking forward to following your bikes for years to come.
