Fezzari requires Adobe Flash Player to view this content. What do you get when you interview hundreds of riders, questioning them about their innermost desires for the ultimate road bike and then, spend thousands of hours translating those ideas into reality? A dream come true. We call it the Fezzari Forte CR5. It is the pinnacle of road bike performance. From its state of the art, proprietary Fezzari Racing Design Xr4 3K monocoque carbon frame to its best-of-market components, the Forte CR5 is THE ultimate road bike. Our designers and engineers didn't cut corners.
Take, for instance, the state of the art proprietary Fezzari Racing Design Xr4 3K monocoque carbon frame. Most high-end road bike makers use a lower grade of carbon in order to save money—then they paint over it to hide that fact. On the Forte CR5, we used the highest grade of carbon available on the market. Our frames were recently tested to be the most durable frames on the market. And, they weigh a mere 2lbs. Strength, lightweight, rigid where you need it most and flexible enough to take the edge off of rough roads, it is the perfect frame for anyone who wants to get the most out of their riding experience.
Next, take a look at the perfect blend of components. The Fezzari Forte CR5 includes full Dura Ace components, FSA K-Force Carbon Crankset, Fezzari XrT 3K carbon fork with carbon steerer tube, 3K carbon handlebars, 3K carbon seat post, and even carbon spacers.
Finally, add sleek graphics and a transparent finish to show off the carbon and you have it--the ultimate road ride.
You get 8 main upgrades over the CR3:
Shimano Dura-Ace Shifters - The best shifters on the market feature: Arced ergonomic shift travel; dual control lever for up and down shifting with ultra refined trim tab shifting (half shifts between gears to utilize all gears efficiently); 2 bearings for smoother shifting; anodized aluminum finish
Shimano Dura-Ace Rear Derailleur - For the ultimate in smooth shifting, the state of the art Dura-Ace rear derailleur features: wide link design; fluoric coated link bushing; sealed bearing guide pulley; anodized aluminum finish.
Shimano Dura-Ace Brakes - The Dual-Pivot brakes design is a lightweight, compact and durable braking system. Through advancements in design, tighter tolerances have been created which created a firm and instantaneous braking response. It features: a convex washer on the fixing bolt of the brake pad to easily adjust for toe-in; cold forged aluminum anodized calipers; and a coated bushing and thrust bearing for instant braking response.
FSA® K-Force MegaExo Carbon Crankset - It features a monocoque carbon crankarm that is stiff and light; external oversized cartridge bearing that are closer to the cranks making each step on the pedal firmer and more responsive; precision CNC-machined chainrings, ramped and pinned for perfect shifting. All this makes it smooth, stable, light, and reliable.

Superb (X 2)!!

I bought the CR5 after riding for years on very fine cromoly and aluminum bikes (Peugeot and Specialized race models). I tried various high-end carbon and carbon aluminum, titanium bikes and was not particularly impressed, as they lacked the right mix of stiffness/precision/power/ handling I wanted.I ordered the CR5 on the strength of what I had heard from knowledgeable friends and the sheer quality/price balance of the bike (and its specs). I have been totally delighted and impressed with this bike-it is a marvel of superb design, materials, and componentry. Also easy to keep in top shape. To make a long story short--(as in "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery), let me just say that I was so impressed with my CR5 that I saved up over a year to give a 56cm CR5 to my wife, as a grand (but light) anniversary present, with Dura-ace pedals and the Shimano Flightdeck wireless computer on it. I expect her to love it as much as I love mine (that's true love!!)

Amazing

I have been riding the CR5 for a year now and I am still smiling. The carbon frame goes where you put it. The first time down the canyon I hit 52 MPH and felt completly in control. This carbon frame is amazing. I am used to riding a titanium and aluminum frame. I will never go back. Definitely the fastest bike I have ever ridden.
