Introducing the lightest production hardtail. Weighing in at 18.8 lbs, the Solitude is the ultimate climbing and cross-country bike.
Fezzari's new HTC monocoque carbon frame is light (weighing only 2 lbs), laterally stiff and vertically compliant. We make it laterally stiff with a beefed up bottom bracket shell, a 31.6mm seat tube (the industry standard is 27.2mm), and a reinforced headtubed and downtube. That makes it one of the most efficient frames you'll ever ride.
The vertical compliance (vertical flex for a softer ride) comes from the carbon and tube shaping. Also, as an option you can go with tubeless tires. Between the frame and tubeless tires, the Solitude will feel like it has 80mm of travel in the rear.
Completing this Solitude build are ultralight components, including a Rockshox Sid Race fork (2.8 lbs), XTR groupo, FSA carbon bar, and Mavic Crossmax SLR wheels (the combined most durable and light wheels you can get).
Ride one and you'll be hooked on light, efficient cross-country riding. Who knows, maybe you'll even try an Xterra.

so much FUN
by Bob Swenky (Cedar Hills UT)

I have been riding the Nebo Peak and loving it more than any other bike I had been on but racing it in the Xterra cup races I was just a little slow on the uphill... I talked to the guys at Fezzari and decided to go with the Solitude race. I still love to free ride but i do it on my Solitude now. it is such a versatile bike and it rides great! super fast and FUN.

Custom Solitude
by Jeffrey Morrison (Pennsylvania)
September 16, 2009
I live in Northeast, PA and wanted a lightweight bike to ride on the fire roads and trails in the Bald Eagle State Forest. I got what I wanted and more. Fezzari worked with me to build a custom Solitude at a price point that matched my needs. The finish is exquisite and the ride excellent. This bike climbs hills as advertised. I could not be happier! Customer Service is top notch and the staff worked with me to change out a handle bar stem to make the perfect custom fit. As their jersey states on the back, "Ride On".
