Connecting the rear triangle to the frame-tuned shock is our active rocker. With a special three-dimensional design, the rocker is cold forged with a high specific density to give it extreme torsional stiffness. We also added an extra stabilizer bar to increase lateral stiffness and increase responsiveness in cornering. It is oversized – 23cm (9 inches) rather than traditional ones that are half that - to give smoother input and greater responsiveness to the shock through the travel. The frame mount pivots also have sealed bearings – not bushings – to decrease friction resistance through the travel and to optimize durability and suspension efficiency, as opposed to commonly used bushings which prematurely ovalize and wear.

The lower shock mount is cold-forged and mounted between the seat tube and downtube to provide greater strength to the frame. Being cold-forged, the bridge is stronger and lighter by using less material. It also increases the strength of the bottom bracket area by being mounted to the seat tube and down tube. This minimizes flex in the bottom bracket.

Fezzari Hidden Set - Rather than an external cup headset system, we use a internal headset. The bearings still operate within a cup that are replaceable, but they are pressed inside the headtube, providing a cleaner look, stronger headtube because of the larger diameter, and easier maintenance.

Fezzari Sealed Bearing Technology - To maximize the performance and durability of our full suspension frames, we have engineered a sealed bearing technology system. Every pivot on the suspension system has a fully replaceable sealed bearing cartridge. From 22 to 32mm in size, these oversized bearings provide much more surface area to displace the energy from the suspension over a broader area for more efficient performance and optimal strength.

On the Main Pivot that connects the rear suspension to the frame, we use oversized 30mm sealed bearings that allow us to use a 15mm pivot tube to increase the frame’s durability and rigidity. This is far superior to a bushing/bolt system commonly used that wears, ovalizes, and constantly needs maintaining.
In addition, the bearings are fully adjustable by a counter-sunk pinch bolt that maintains optimal contact pressure against the pivot assembly. This means you’ll have consistent ride quality throughout the lifetime of the frame.

The upper pivot is cold-forged and solid, providing increased strength and reduced weight. Being solid, the Rocker Base provides much greater contact area on the seat tube and the Rocker Pivot.

To give added strength to our bottom bracket shell and main pivot, we have cold-forged a Bottom Bracket/Pivot assembly that dramatically increases the torsional strength of the BB assembly. It gives significant ride improvement in lateral stiffness and overall life of the frame.

To maximize pedaling and braking efficiency, we created an oversized dropout/pivot section on the chainstay. The pivot location is 80mm from the rear axle giving a more vertical wheel path that optimizes pedaling efficiency. The rear pivot housing is 30mm and contains a 22mm bearing to increase performance and provide a longer lifespan. The bearing is held in place with a C-Clip that makes the bearing easily replaceable. The cold-forged triple truss bracing provides ideal durability in a lightweight design.

Connecting the lower rear triangle of our [FRD4AL2 & FRD6AL2] full-suspension frames is the Drop 40 Yoke. The key attributes:
- The Chain Stays are offset by 40 degrees - 6.35 cm (2.5 inches) - to provide superior lateral stiffness
- With a 20mm outer diameter cross-bar with contact points on the chainstay spanning 40mm that provides superior lateral stiffness and better drivetrain clearance (on the chain)
- All tubing is oversized and quality-tested to last a lifetime

To maximize performance through every millimeter of travel, we have worked in close cooperation with Fox Racing to develop a shock specifically tuned for Fezzari’s suspension. This gives the best pedaling performance and ride characteristics.Bikes Featuring Fox Customized Setup


Fezzari full-suspension frames use a true 4-pivot suspension system. In any suspension system, a vertical wheel path is preferred because it minimizes braking feedback and optimizes pedaling efficiency. We accomplish ideal wheelpath through precise pivot positioning, an oversized rocker arm, and lots of testing and rider feedback. The benefits?
- Smooth, linear braking
- Optimal lateral stiffness in cornering
- Efficient pedaling without backlash
- Longer durability because the stress is distributed through 4 points
Also, by using oversized bearings on every pivot point, we ensure that there is less resistance in the frame and superior durability.

Many people assume that all carbon is equal. The technology we use performs better and last longer. Some of the proprietary processes we use include:
- Parallel Multilevel Fiber Winding – This is done on multiple levels to give optimal stiffness in the right places and supple ride characteristics in other areas.
- Monocoque Molding – Multiple sheets of fibers are interwoven into one frame so there are no weak spots in the frame and more fluid ride characteristics that transfer through the entire frame.
- Carbon Nano Tube Resins - The resins we use are specifically designed for our frames. These include a NANO resin and a CNT (Carbon Nano Tube Technology Resin) for higher impact strength and greater lamination strength. They allow the frame walls to be thinner and stronger.
- Dual Temperature Amalgam - For the molding and heating processes we use a proprietary method of dual high temperature curing – the outer temperature is higher than the inner - providing a thorough hardening and curing process.

- Shaping – We can enlarge, shape, and strengthen areas where needed (e.g., bottom bracket, seat tubes, chain stays, forks, etc)

Fezzari uses proprietary techniques in aluminum tube shaping (sometimes known as hydroforming). Rather than use welded gussets to strengthen the frame, we shape the aluminum tubing to give superior strength to weight ratios and cleaner, smoother finishes. Continuous Dispersal Box – Some of the greatest forces on a frame are in the bottom bracket shell area during pedaling and cornering. To strengthen that area and provide more linear force diffusion, we have doubled the size of the traditional bottom bracket shell and connected the down tube, seat tube, and chain stay directly (not all through the bottom bracket) which allows for more consistent and optimal performance.Bikes Featuring Continuous Dispersal Box

Utilizing our unique monocoque frame design, forces on the rear triangle don’t just stop at each tube intersection, but transfer through the balance of the frame via external ribbing. This makes the frame stiffer and more consistent when counter forces are applied, such as in pedaling and cornering.Bikes Featuring Wishbone Channeling

The oversized 31.6mm seat tube provides significantly more frame stiffness. Through our proprietary manufacturing process it is also lighter than the standard size tubes and the wall tensile strength is greater.Bikes Featuring OS316 Seat Tube

Frame Defense Technology - To protect all of our bike frames, all frames are built with a Fezzari replaceable derailleur hanger. All of our derailleur hangers are alloy dual-bolt with threading in the hanger and not the frame, as usual. It acts like a fuse in an electrical system. All Fezzari painting is hand-done, environmentally friendly, with the most advanced techniques in the industry. There is a 7-Step Process:
- Prepaint Work – We painstakingly sand and hand polish our frames. This ensures a smooth finish for ideal paint adhesion.
- Prepaint Bath Treatment – We use a soda-based immersion bath to cleanse and prep the frame for the painting process.
- Stage 1 Paint - Prep Coat – To start the paint process, the frames move into our new static, dust, and humidity free paint rooms. We seal the base material (carbon, aluminum, or steel) with a prep layer of paint.
- Stage 2 Paint – Base Coat – We do a first layer paint. Rather than use just industry standard paint, we invest more to use environmentally friendly, lead-free, paint that is of the highest standards.
- Stage 3 Paint – Final Coat – To make the colors deeper and richer, we do a second coat of paint. We use metallic flake, pearl, and multi-hue paints.
- Graphics Application – Before we complete the final coat, we apply state-of-the-art membrane graphics. Many other companies apply stickers on top of the final coat of paint. But to ensure that your Fezzari’s graphics will last as long as possible, we put them under the final clear coat.
- Clear Coat Process – Finally we apply a clear coat finish to seal everything. This means that everything is smooth to the touch. This is on par or better than the best finishes on any product. Years down the road, the luster can be returned to new condition with simple waxing.
