Features

The all-new Abajo Peak is the best we have ever built!  Better pedaling saves rider energy, better descending to instill confidence, and a more active, lively suspension design makes sure you return to the trail head with a smile on your face.

The heart and soul of the Abajo Peak is the new Tetra-Link suspension design combined with our GA-Link Geometry.

  • Climb-conquering pedaling efficiency – the suspension kinematics have been refined to increase pedaling efficiency and get you to the top of the climb faster and with more energy in your legs.
  • A plush/bottomless feel – Fezzari designed a very progressive suspension to give an incredibly plush ride. This leads to great small bump sensitivity while preserving mid-stroke support.
  • Active braking – the design ensures the suspension stays active under braking, even through technical sections.

Fezzari’s GA-Link Geometry allows you to adjust the geometry for both 27.5 plus and 29er wheels while maintaining a consistent bottom bracket height between the two platforms.

The Abajo Peak has been with Fezzari since day one. Every time we redesign the frame it gets better and the AT529 frame is no exception. It has the Tetra-Link suspension that is specifically designed for  29er and 27.5+ wheel platforms, as well as the larger rear axle and headtube for stability. We've created a better pedaling platform for more power transfer to get those big wheels up over anything you encounter on the trail. The active suspension design coupled with the X-Fusion McQueen fork, with its 34mm stanchion and external low and highspeed compresion adjust, and X-Fusion O2 Pro RL shock keep even the biggest rocks tame. The simple and snappy Shimano SLX 1x11 shifting and SRAM hydraulic disc brakes will make it seem effortless when the trail gets vertical. If quality and value are at the top of your list look no further than the Abajo Peak.

Frame Construction

  1. Tapered headtube for added strength and stiffness.
  2. Internal cable routing for drivetrain, brakes, and dropper post.
  3. Oversized hydroformed alloy tubing with single pass smooth welding for added strength and reduced weight.
  4. GA-Link geometry adjust to keep a consistant BB height for 27.5+ or 29er tires.
  5. Tetralink AT529 suspension with 5.1" (130mm) travel with improved pedalling platform and more progressive curve for a bottomless feeling.
  6. Direct post mount for better braking control.
  7. Boost 12x148mm rear axle for stability in corner, wheel strength and 27.5x2.8 or 29x2.5 tire clearance.
  8. Frame Defense Technology, replaceable derailleur hanger with threads in the hanger, not the frame, for longevity.

Industry Reviews

Fezzari is a company that has customer service on the brain.

Our look at the details suggest that the company has done their homework.

Initially [the factory direct] process may sound a bit cold and corporate, but in reality, it's quite the opposite.

I love my Abajo Peak

by Megan (West Valley City)

This is my first Fezzari Mtn Bike. I knew I wanted to go with Fezzari and I was originally looking at the Wikki Peak when I went down to the store. However, the associate, Amy, told me that the Wikki they had was too large for me to try so she put me on the Abajo. After taking it around the parking lot a couple of times, I fell in love. I wasn't even interested in the Wikki after that. They even stayed open a half hour after they closed to wait for me to drive down from Salt Lake through the Memorial Weekend traffic to pick it up. Even after I arrived, they ensured that I was happy and that everything was to my satisfaction. They went above and beyond great customer service. I took my Abajo out for it's maiden ride yesterday and this bike is everything the website says it is. I couldn't be happier! I recommend this bike to all riders. I'm a beginner myself and I couldn't ask for a better mtn bike. Thank you Fezzari!

Awesome 29er

by Crystal L (North Las Vegas)

The custom fit process worked great. I'm a 5'2" female who wanted a 29" bike with all mountain geometry and this bike fits perfect! The only thing is the bars that came with were a bit too wide, but a quick switch from 740mm to 720mm and now it's perfect. The big wheels roll over anything, great traction, suspension inspires confidence. Seat is comfortable. Component mix works perfect. Shocks and forks came set to my weight and feels great. This is the best bike I've ever owned! Thank you Fezzari!

I want to say thank you to all at Fezzari. My bike is great.

by Britt B (Evans, CO)

I want to say thank you to all at Fezzari. My bike is great. I have rode a lot but not enough. Work gets in the way of fun. I really like how my bike corners on the trails. It took a bit to get used to the full suspension, but I am sold on it. I even rode my new bike with the Greeley Police Dept. They have an annual GPD night ride for the community. Next week we will be riding the Famous Monarch Crest Trail. I have confidence that my Abajo will carry me 34 miles down the single track. Thanks again.
