Features

Peloton Magazine said "The Foré CR5 defied expecations."  They also said, "Fezzari got the ride quality spot on, threading a tight needle that will appeal to a fit fondo rider and pure racer alike."

The Foré CR5 is the top in performance and ride quality.

We've pulled out all the stops on the new Xr10SL frame on the 4th generation Foré CR5. Using new carbon manufacturing techniques we have dramatically decreased the weight of the frame by nearly 300 grams, for a frame weight of 890 grams (size 53cm). We did more than put the frame on a diet, we added more power transfer with the newly designed downtube and chainstays, and added even more all day comfort with our new carbon layup design and manufacturing techniques.

It's the little features that really push the Foré CR5 out in front. Future-proof internal cable routing that is compatible with mechanical and electronic drivetrains with a simple cable guide change. Fezzari's Frame Defense Technology and a Limited Lifetime Warranty give you the peace of mind to put it through its paces.

The Fezzari Foré CR5 truly is an all-around bike that is light and stiff enough to race, but gives you all-day riding comfort for your next Gran Fondo. The Foré CR5 will have you at the front of the pack.

Industry Reviews

Expect to spend a grand for every 100 grams you shave —ludicrous, unless you are a climber. Trying to go light on a budget has led people to do crazy things like take a drill bit to components or even—god forbid—buy consumer direct.  See the full Peloton Magazine review on our blog

The folks at Fezzari make it as easy as possible and they are available to help you with whatever questions or concerns you might have.

A thoughtful and mature way to go about bike design.

Fezzari has made a reputation with customer service.

Fezzari’s out-of-the-box thinking allows riders to afford bikes they would otherwise have to mortgage their house for.

Rather than load it up with cheap parts and slap a Fezzari logo on them, Fezzari spec’d the bike like it was destined for the WorldTour.

It’s just over 15 pounds on the scale in a size 58cm. Swap to Reynolds’ 1,365-gram Attacks and it is UCI illegal; plus, you actually save money. Insane.

Fezzari is the biggest little bike company you’ve never heard of.

The Foré CR5 defied these expectations. It has a smooth ride for long miles as well as a responsive, almost percussive feel at the bottom bracket when riding out of the saddle.

Fezzari got the ride quality spot on, threading a tight needle that will appeal to a fit fondo rider and pure racer alike.

Fezzari is a company that has customer service on the brain.

I swear the Foré CR5 just felt faster.

Everything I had hoped for and more!

by Chad Probasco (Roy, UT)

I bought my first road bike in 1989 and I have been in love ever since. After spending years on mid to upper end road bikes, I was ready to invest in a top end bike. I researched many different brands, and visited many bike shops. I was almost ready to pull the trigger on a different bike when a friend told me about Fezzari. After some research, and a demo ride, I decided on the CR5 Dura Ace 9100. When I compared the CR5 spec for spec, with a couple other bikes I had my eye on. the others couldn't compete with the price. I wanted to hold off on a review until I had put some miles on the bike. So far, I have put a little over 1,000 miles on my CR5. I Absolutely love it! The more I ride it, the more I love it. All I can say is Wow!! It's quick, responsive, and climbing is a dream. I have taken it out on all of my regular Strava routes. I have set new PRs on my favorite segments I have ridden 40-50 times! The geometry is forgiving, and to have this kind of performance on top of comfort, is more than I could ask for. I have become a Fezzari zealot. I love the company, the products, and the staff. I love my CR5 so much, I bought a MTB as well!

..the bike is excellent.

Hi, Just a note to let you know my CR5 Dura-Ace arrived on March 1 in perfect order. After work unpacked and assembled then did final setup and fine adjustments next day. Chris did an excellent assembly job. I appreciate his note inside the box flap very much. Only short rides so far, the bike is excellent. I had called and discussed some things with one of your staff, Ian I think, and everything was exactly as we discussed. Much nicer bike than I need or can justify after 45 years riding now at age 62 but I've always appreciated top notch equipment. My first really good bike was a Bottechia, about 1971 and in 1973 I bought a Masi Gran Criterium, full Campy Nuovo Record. The bikes today are so much better. Back then you pretty much had to true your wheels every week, especially a big guy like me. I went about 205 pounds at my best riding weight. I was pretty fast on the flats and had a really good sprint but never could climb, still can't, just too much mass. As a friend of mine said recently, "The older I get the better I used to be." Anyway the bike is excellent and thanks to your company for making such a high end machine affordable and for the excellent service and setup. Simply an experience with no negatives. I visited your store last may while vacationing in Park City and next time I'm there will stop by again. Ride safe, live your life well. Allen Canine

....DAMN!

by John Beers (FL)

Hello again Fezzari Earthlings: First, let me apologize for the delay in sending this message. I have been recovering from the many ridegasms I've experienced since taking ownership of this fabulous bike, the CR5. When I got everything assembled, I considered mounting it on my wall between a couple of Picassos and calling it modern art. It's a gorgeous machine. It's so light and seems so fragile. I'm still afraid I'm going to break it. Yes, this is the first carbon bike I've owned. It didn't look right between the paintings tho, so I it took it out for it's maiden voyage and ....DAMN! The rear derailleur snaps the gears into place instantly, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the same for the front. Thanks to Ian for helping me arrive at the perfect sized frame for my build. I know we knocked around a couple of ideas before deciding on a specific size. I've not been more comfortable on a road bike before. I knocked out 20 miles today and don't feel like I need a post ride stretching rack to straighten my bones. The wheels are just ridiculous! Light and stiff, clean and crisp in their design; I've not experienced a ride quality quite like the ones I've had the past two days since receiving this bike. Many thanks to Chris for a really clean and accurate build. He wrote me a very cool note on the inside of the box as well. It was much appreciated! Hold on, I think I see a smudge on the right crank. Okay, so how long does this OCD 'my bike's gotta be spotless after every ride' thing going to last? Anyway, kudos to you Fezzari peeps! Your team work and attention to detail is obvious with this outstanding product that you created for me. I am a very happy customer. I have and will continue to recommend your products to my cycling friends. Thanks again and... Cheers! John
